Children's Dental Health Centre North is at 14 Sage Hill Passage N.W. in Calgary, open Monday to Saturday from 8:00am to 4:30pm and closed Sunday. All five pediatric specialists see patients here. New families join through our Preventive Dental Care Program, or come on a referral from their own dentist for a specific concern.

On Sage Hill Passage N.W., in the Sage Hill retail area just off Symons Valley Parkway. Easy to reach from Stoney Trail and Shaganappi Trail.
Parking
Free surface parking directly outside the clinic. You will not be circling for a spot or feeding a meter with a toddler in tow.
Getting in
Step-free access from the parking lot, with both an elevator and stairs in the building. Strollers and wheelchairs get in without a detour.
When we are open
Monday to Saturday, 8:00am to 4:30pm. Closed Sunday. Saturday runs all appointment types, not just emergencies.

A weekday appointment means a child out of school and a parent out of work, and twice a year, for a routine check-up, that is a genuinely hard sell. So we open on Saturdays, as a full clinic day rather than an emergency service, and it is the single thing our North families mention most.
Saturday here is a full clinic day, not a skeleton crew for emergencies. Check-ups, cleanings, fillings, sedation appointments and new patient visits all run, with the same dentists you would see midweek.
It books up further ahead than weekdays for exactly that reason, so it is worth getting the next appointment in the calendar before you leave.

Where exactly is the North clinic?
We are at 14 Sage Hill Passage N.W., Calgary, T3R 0S4, in the Sage Hill retail area just off Symons Valley Parkway in northwest Calgary. There is free parking directly outside, and the building has both an elevator and stairs with step-free access from the lot.
What are the hours at the North location?
Monday to Saturday, 8:00am to 4:30pm. We are closed on Sunday. Our South location keeps the same hours, so whichever clinic you are booked into, the day runs the same.
Is Saturday a full clinic day at this location?
Yes. Check-ups, cleanings, restorative treatment, sedation appointments and new patient visits all run on Saturdays with the same dentists who are here midweek. Saturdays fill further ahead than weekdays, so it is worth booking those in advance.
Which dentists work at the North clinic?
All five of our pediatric specialists see patients at both locations. If your child has seen a particular dentist before and you would like to stay with them, say so when booking and we will work around their schedule.
Do I need a referral to come here?
Not necessarily, and it depends what you are coming for. If you are establishing your child as a new patient and joining our comprehensive prevention program, no referral is needed and you can book directly with us. If your child already has a general or family dentist and you are seeking a specialist consultation for a specific concern, we ask that your dentist provide a referral, so we understand the history and the reason for the visit. Either way, your family dentist receives a consultation letter from us afterwards.
Can treatment under general anesthesia be done at this location?
Our day surgery centre is at the South location on Buffalo Run Boulevard, and most general anesthesia cases are done there. Some are carried out at the Alberta Children’s Hospital instead, depending on your child’s medical history and what is being done. Everything leading up to it, including the consultation and the planning, can be done at the North clinic, and nitrous oxide and oral sedation are both available here.
What if my child has a dental emergency?
Call us and we will get you in. We keep time free each day for emergencies, and Saturday means a weekend injury does not have to wait until Monday. If a permanent tooth has been knocked out, act immediately and call straight away, because the first hour matters more than anything else.
